The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Media Production gives learners the opportunity to work hands-on in creative environments, and produce audio-visual content for both artistic and commercial practices, acquiring a broad range of knowledge and skills with respect to theory and practice in film making along the way.
The work presented in this space comes from this year’s graduands, and is a response to the modern challenges of multiplatform or transmedia storytelling. Transmedia storytelling communicates narrative across an integrated network of synced storylines and multimedia platforms. This exhibition is a showcase of each student’s creative talents, and is a contribution to our shared narrative. Each project could stand alone but collectively they form a complex narrative about an alternative world of heroes and villains. Moreover, each story gives us a greater understanding of the complex and colourful world they inhabit, and its rich and entertaining backstory.
