The focus of this study was on the phenomena of “the light at the end of the tunnel” in near-death experiences, and its visual importance as a transition between death and life. The project sought to enhance our knowledge of near-death experiences, consciousness, and the human experience using a mixed method that included the investigation of near-death experience stories, scientific research, and other psychological components. The project contains two videos; the first is a documentary about two women who have experienced this phenomenon and the second is a visual representation of one of the women that entered the tunnel of light. The project’s aims are to investigate the nature of the light at the end of the tunnel and its significance as a transition between death and life in near death experiences.
