Ryan believes that different tools and mediums that may seem outdated for today’s multimedia and animation industry can still be used to create an interesting piece of animation. His project seeks to compare and contrast traditional hand drawn animation and computer-assisted 2D animation while using different methods and results that the tools offer. The findings are presented in an animated segment where the characters alter between digitally drawn frames and hand-drawn pen-on-paper frames.
