Adrian accepts that level design is an essential part of creating a balanced map for any first-person shooter. His project aims to create a balanced map prototype for the tactical first-person shooter, “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive”, using multiple-level design principles. The players would use the environment as a place to carry out their objectives and eliminate the opposing team by using different strategies. Since the map is in the prototype stage, the theme is not fully developed, however, this doesn’t affect the map layout as the missing artwork would not directly interfere with the level design.
